This year, we are honored to welcome Courtney Litvak, No Trafficking Zone, who will serve as our keynote speaker for an inspiring evening focused on hope, justice, and the power of community in the fight to end human trafficking.

Courtney Litvak is a survivor, advocate, and powerful voice in the fight against human trafficking. After being trafficked as a teenager, Courtney escaped and began a journey of healing and restoration rooted in her faith in Jesus.

Today, she uses her story to advocate for stronger protections for young people, helping shape landmark human trafficking legislation in Texas and serving as a subject matter expert for national anti-trafficking initiatives. Courtney’s message of faith, resilience, justice, and hope is a powerful reminder that freedom is possible and that every survivor deserves the opportunity to rebuild a life filled with purpose and belonging.

Mackenzie Babichenko

Mackenzie Babichenko is a dedicated career prosecutor and a strong advocate for survivors, children, and vulnerable members of our community. As Hanover County’s first woman Commonwealth’s Attorney, she has built a record of pursuing justice while championing victim-centered, trauma-informed advocacy. Her work includes prosecuting human trafficking and other serious offenses, supporting trafficking victims, and serving on local and statewide boards focused on child protection and community safety. Through her leadership, collaboration, and commitment to justice, Mackenzie exemplifies what it means to be a Freedom Maker—helping create safer communities where survivors can find freedom, hope, and belonging.

Barbara Hamm Lee

Barbara Hamm Lee is an award-winning journalist, television host, entrepreneur, and consultant specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice programming. She has held leadership roles in television news management and served as an adjunct journalism professor at Norfolk State University and Old Dominion University. Barbara is also involved in her community, serving on the boards of the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities and the National Center for the Prevention of Community Violence.
